“Full service sex worker” is used to show a sex worker who will engage in physical, sexual contact with clients (all have their own personal limitations)

“Cam girl/boy” is used to show a sex worker who will only make video and/or take photos of themselves and send it to clients (live streamed or pre-recorded)

“Girlfriend experience” is normally used to mean a sex worker will roleplay romantic activities with a client (text, email, phone calls, etc.) and MIGHT engage in sexual activities (if they do, it’s normally pretty “vanilla”, nothing too fancy/extreme)

“Dominatrix” is a sex worker who gets paid to do fetish, kink, and/or BDSM related things to a client (limits vary wildly, pretty dependent on a client and individual sex worker)

“Financial Dominant” is a type of sex worker that engaged in BDSM with their client with a financial aspect tied to it (“Pay me $40 before you can even talk to me”, otherwise known as a tribute); these sex workers typically desire expensive gifts in some shape or form from a client, but their clients are their BDSM submissives

“Sugar baby” is a type of sex worker (some are platonic but this is exceedingly rare) where they will give attention to a client in exchange for money or gifts, BDSM is optional

I hope this answers some of your questions! The sex work community is very large. Many will just say “the adult industry” because of how big the sea is!
